Follow your instincts

Almost 4 months old already–where did the time go? You’re probably hearing a lot about sleep training, and it’s no surprise because popular sleep training programs make big promises. However, sleep training is not always the right choice for every family, so it’s important to follow your instincts.

Weaning nighttime feeds

If your baby is 4 months old and weighs more than 14 pounds, your pediatrician may tell you it’s ok to begin night weaning. However, babies up to a year old may still require at least one night feeding as they grow and develop. It is absolutely up to you if you want to wean your baby at night. Some parents enjoy that special time together, while others are begging for uninterrupted sleep. Make decisions based on what feels right for you and your baby.
