Finding yourself again
It may be time to reconnect with yourself and get back to an activity or hobby that was put on hold when your baby came home. By 4 months, your routine with your baby has hopefully become more predictable, allowing for some pockets of free time throughout your day. What have you been wanting to do but haven’t felt you had the time or energy for? Now is a good time to start thinking about setting reachable goals for yourself to accomplish, like a small project or activity that brings you joy. If you only focus on parenting and ignore the things that bring you happiness as an individual, you risk losing a bit of yourself. Finding yourself again after becoming a parent is a challenge but it’s essential for your mental health and well-being.
