Play time
Your baby is getting more playful each day. Reaching for toys and holding objects introduces a whole new sensory world to your baby through different textures, looking closely at toys, and putting things in their mouth. If your baby is teething, putting items in their mouth can help relieve gum soreness. Provide different textures and situations for play throughout your baby’s awake times. Set up floor play on a mat with toys and sounds, or in a seated chair with toys to stimulate your baby and allow for the development of different muscles and hand-eye coordination.
